Do I need to see my GP first?
No, unless required by your health insurance provider. We accept direct referrals, allowing you to begin treatment without delays, providing peace of mind and a clear action plan right away.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For example, shorts are ideal for a knee injury. Rest assured, your modesty will be respected throughout your appointment.

When is payment due?

Payment is required at the end of each session, minus any amount paid during online booking. We prefer card payments but also accept cash. A receipt can be emailed to you upon request. Please note, we don’t work directly with private health insurance companies, but depending on your policy, you may be able to claim back your fees. We recommend checking the details of your insurance coverage before booking.

Can I use private health insurance for treatment at So Massage?

Some health insurance policies cover treatments, but all clients are required to pay for their appointments at the time of service. We can email you a receipt, which may help with reclaiming fees, depending on your policy. Since coverage varies, we advise checking with your insurer in advance, as we cannot be held responsible for any shortfall in reimbursement.


How do I change my appointment?

We understand that plans can change, but we kindly ask for as much notice as possible if you're unable to attend your appointment. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule, allowing us to offer your slot to another client. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a charge. Since appointments are in high demand, timely notice ensures we can accommodate others. We’ll send text and email reminders to help you remember your appointment time.

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

Just bring yourself! However, if you've had any tests or medical investigations related to your condition, it can be helpful to bring any relevant documents or results.


How do I find SO Massage?

SO Massage is located at Solent Business Park in Whiteley. We’re easily accessible from Junction 9 of the M27. Follow the road to the roundabout and take the third exit. Continue straight until you reach another small roundabout, where you'll see the building "Spaces" directly ahead—this is where we’re located. There’s ample off-road parking available.
